Whether you’re just starting up or have been doing it for years, there is one thing for sure, the challenges will keep coming, along with all the successes.
So wouldn’t it be helpful to have access to your very own group of ‘personal consultants’ who can listen to and empathise with your situation and give you the benefit of their experience? And in turn, you’ll be their personal consultant.
The Personal and Professional Development Peer Group will encourage you, the business owner, to feel responsible for finding solutions to your own and other group members’ issues and challenges. Although it can seem daunting, providing an opportunity for you to meet other owner/managers encourages the sharing of experiences and ideas which can contribute to greater and broader learning both from a personal and business perspective. By stepping away from your business and sharing with like-minded people you will be able to see wider issues involved in running a business which you might be experiencing already or may do some time in the future.
The group will meet once a month over a six month period in either a morning or an afternoon session. Sessions start January 2008.
